I use lvm and have all my patitions except the /boot partition for my arch install in it.
I wanted to install slackware in a logical volume today but remembered that grub cannot boot from a lvm.
So my question is: do I have to create another /boot partition outside the lvm or is it possible to share the existing one between arch and slackware in some way?
Thanks in advance!

Seems possible to me as long as you clearly distinct between the different kernel images. I did no test this though.

Thank you, I'ill try it!
edit: Yes, it really does work! But i fear my /boot partition will become "unclean"...
