Banshee and vlc issues

Helo everybody

1.Sometimes when I run banshee 1.4 its GUI freezes.
Is there any solution for that problem ? Or its just a bug ?

2.I installed vlc 0.9.8a and the following apps have been installed with this as deps:
Qt4 Assistant
Qt4 Designer
Qt4 Linguist

I don't really need those tools.Is there any possibility to remove them without losing vlc ?

1. do you get anything if you run it on the command line

2.  I think those are just part of the qt package.  So you don't get much option there.

that's my banshee output:

Maybe installing NetworkManager will help or disabling some options related to this app in banshee ?
