I'm not too familiar with upgrading gcc... should it be completely transparent? or should I expect to run into some problems?
I've moved to gcc3.3 from 3.2.3 and then I was trying to install openoffice and I get the following error from trying to run ./setup:
/opt/openoffice/program/setup.bin: ./libgcc_s.so.1: version `GCC_3.3' not found (required by /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5)
Is this just openoffice specific (looking at the PKGBUILD file it looks like it was hell to build) or have I not done something I should have?
Thanks in advance.
Hapy.
