Firefox and resuming after suspension

After upgrading my ram from 256mb to 768mb, I've decided to try Firefox again, and installed the latest version (3.0.5) from the repos. I find that if I leave it on, suspend the laptop, and resume again, the system becomes extremely slow and in about 5 seconds it freezes completely. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hmmm, ok.

I'm just going to use this as an excuse to recompile Firefox and play around with the mozconfig file. For anyone who wants to know, I'm using 32 bit, and I did update xulrunner at the same time.
