libgphoto2 - Canon Powershot sd790is

Hello I have recently just picked up a new Camera. It is a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS.  I am having problems with libghphoto2 detecting the camera when it is pluged in via usb.

I am in the group "camera"
I have used a number of different clients such as f-spot, gtkam, and gphoto

I am really at a loss here. When I plug inte camera and fire up a client nothing is detected.

*update*
I just looked at the libgphotot2 page and my camera is not listed under the supported cameras. Anyone have any other ideas?

Doh! I forgot to add myself to the camera group! I can at least browse and delete photos now.
