Hello. I recently installed Arch linux with Xfce on my Sony VAIO VGN-SZ430N laptop, which has an Fn key that can be used in conjunction with the F keys (F1, F2, etc.) to complete tasks such as changing/muting the volume and adjusting the brightness. I would like to know if there is a simple way to assign the key combinations:
Fn + F2 Mutes
Fn + F3 Lowers Volume
Fn + F4 Raises Volume
Fn + F5 Lowers Brightness
Fn + F6 Raises Brightness
Those are the combinations I really use and need. How can I assign these tasks to the keyboard shortcuts specified above? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look in the wiki for the many guides. Basically you need to use xev to get the keycodes of the key combinations and then use xbindkeys or keytouch to associate them to a certain command. Also any window manager has an internal keygrabbing system

Alright. So what commands exactly would I run to get this software?

I searched in the wiki before I posted this thread, but couldn't find anything, so I came here. If someone has found something a link would be helpful.
