[SOLVED] 'K' application launcher lost from KDE4 panel

Hi Archers!

My k application launcher has gone from my panel. I don;t know how this has happened as my widgets are locked. I've unlocked the widgets and tried to re-add the launcher but it does not appear.

My app launcher was running in legacy mode as I hate the kick-off style menu in KDE. 

Does anyone know how I can get the application launcher back? I don't want to nuke all my kde settings so if anyone knows where the application launcher settings are kept that would be a great help.

I think I've found it, .kde4/share/config/plasma-appletsrc

moved it to my home dir and logged back into kde.
