Whenever I try and run a Windows executable, it takes a LOOOOOOOOOONG time.
When I try it in the command line, I get this:
andy@compy386 ~/VG/ $ wine GenericWiiPatcher.exe
^Cerr:module:attach_process_dlls "winspool.drv" failed to initialize, aborting
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"Z:\\home\\andy\\VG\\GenericWiiPatcher.exe" failed, status c000013a
(Yes, control C'd it, wouldn't get the error any other way)
Is there any way to fix this error?

Might be best to try the wine forum as it may be a bug. Try an older version of wine. What is "GenericWiiPatcher.exe"? Sounds dodgy

GenericWiiPatcher patches the main.dol of a Wii disk.
Like change language, change video mode, remove some errors, etc.
And I'll try wine-git from AUR. Screw older versions, go not-released-yet versions!

I'm having the same problem with winecfg and some other programs. Were you able to find a fix?
edit: It looks like installing and starting CUPS fixes everything. Strange.
