larch - a kind request for help

I am a (not so fresh) newbie according to Archlinux.

I do like the philosophy of larch very very much and i've tryed out some amazing experiments with it. It is simply great!! My honest congratulations to the authors of this wonderfull piece of scripting.

But now I would like (in fact I need) to know a little more:

How could it be possible to mount or at least to read the content of the overlay.ovl? I know it has to do something with lzop. But what exactly and how?

Please do believe me when I say that I tryed out google before asking this questions. And I carefully have read the scripts too. Without success, as I said, i am still a noob.

I would like to be able, if possible, to mount the file overlay.ovl, make some few changes to it and transfer these back to the overlay.xpk

I've also heard about the great project of Godane, who is working with other techniques, but this is as far to high at the moment for a newbie like me ;-)

By the way, a happy new year to everybody!

Etienne
