A few minutes ago i just wanted to install archlinux on my new 1tb Sata drive but after everything during the install went fine, grub hadn´t any option there was just

and the PcSpeaker where beeping all the time.

ok so u have a fresh install where did u install grub at. also just curious is this any special install u did like RAID or just regular arch install with seperate partitions
for me i installed grub to /dev/sda
not /dev/sda1
so verify where u installed it

sure i installed grub to /dev/sda not sda1 and it was a regular arch install without raid or anything just my first sata drive dunno if you have to do anything special i guess not...

well i suggest reinstalling grub according to this

i just reinstalled grub and no difference
i gues the pc beeping i not the problem couse if i have a cd in and press boot from first hard drive it just show´s th text grub but does not beep...
but nothing else happens and i can´t do anything just reboot..

After installing grub from the installation disk, change to another console and look at the grub configuration file (/mnt/boot/grub/menu.lst), I guess. Try to paste it here

I not realy solved it but now i am able to boot
i reinstall grub to my ide master and changed the boot order in the bios
now it works but it's more like a workaround
