Card Reader help (now thumbnails question)

So i have a multi card reader that is hooked up to a USB pinout on my motherboard.  For some reason it is not automounting whenever i plug in a card.  I would like to be able to plug card in, and have the file browser open up to the card...what steps do i need to take to get this working?  I have hal and dbus working just fine im pretty sure, i am runnign KDEmod3 as well.

Is the card reader being detected and if it is is there any message on when you insert a card? (use dmesg to check)

i didn't have myself as part of the right groups...so its all fixed and working fine now .

however, i still have one last question.  Anyone know how to configure the Konquerer so the files that are images are viewed as thumbnails instead of small icons that looks like a night sky?  I want to see the small thumbs so i don't have to narrow down what pic im looking for.
