Sound not working properly
Hi, although I've tried I can't get sound working... Well, it does, it plays the startup sound when logging into gdm but then nothing can be played.
Any idea of what can be causing it?
I have pulseaudio installed by the way.

ALSA, OSS, PulseAudio. Here's my opinion: OSS 4 provides better sound quality than ALSA and per application volume control. With all that in mind, tell me why on earth would you bother with unnecessary sound server which needs a ton of configuration and doesn't provide anything special?
