aMSN plugins failed

Hi,

I spent some time playing with other OS's for a week or so and when I came back to Arch I did a full upgrade. I was upgraded to aMSN-0.97.2-3. I noticed there were some problems with aMSN reported but I am having a different problem that I don't see around here.

It appears that the upgrade broke gnotify 0.5 (??) and pop3 2.3. Now they just say init procedure caused an internal error when I try to load the plugin. This is on Arch64. Anyone else having problems like this?

I tried installing the version of aMSN from AUR but that didn't seem to work. Is this a problem with tk? I noticed someone said they downgraded tk for a different problem and that fixed it. I do know that tk was updated at the same time as well.

Any thoughts?

Oh I forgot, aMSN identifies itself as 0.98b when you go to about.

Thanks.

Daniel

Re: aMSN plugins failed

A full rollback to the previous versions of tcl, tk, and amsn fixed the problem. That shouldn't be necessary though.
