Making udev rule to allow user to access usb peripherals via libusb

Hi,

I have an application I wrote that controls a PhidgetServo card via a usb connection and using libusb. All works well for root user or when sudo is used, but as a normal user I cannot control the PhidgetServo card because it is not even found on the usb bus by my application.

How can add a GROUP="usb" attribute in the udev rules so that I can add the normal user to group usb and allow him to access the card via libusb?

I also have a similar problem with another application that controls a ham radio transceiver via dev/tts/1 but it will again only work with root previlages.
