repo servers in the uk, horridly slow

right there are 3 servers in my mirrorlist.pacwhatever for the uk. all of them are horridly slow! the one im using now starts off at a good 700kbs then drops to 60 ish! why?!
am i doing this the right way by uncommenting one server in my mirrorlist.pacwhatever

Why don't you follow the advice given in your previous thread in which you pretty much asked the exact same thing?

Are the settings correct in /etc/pacman.d/mirrorist? That's the file that pacman's using and was recently updated.

I didn't realize that there way another thread. Cew27, cross posting is not helpful.
