[Solved] Gnomes volume control panel...how do i save the levels?

Like the subject says, my Alsa works fine, but everytime i load up Gnome i have to go into the "switches" section and toggle the "speaker" switch, because im using a thinkpad.

Also the volume is set to 0% on boot as well....how can i get these options to stay the same the next time i boot up?

I think it's related to the Alsa daemon. Make sure it exits correctly when you turn off your system.

It should display "Saving ALSA Levels ....... [DONE]" or something similar.

Add alsa to your daemons list in rc.conf.
It is written in arch wiki in the alsa page, You should follow that when installing smth if You don't know precisely what is what wink
