Amarok slow on startup

Does anyone else have this problem? For me it's the same for both computers i have, which are both pretty new and fast... It takes about 15 seconds to start amarok which i find too slow..

any suggestions on what i might have done wrong?

do you use the default sqlite database or mysql/postgresql?

i use sqlite and i do use library and auto rescan option

mysql is faster, this is a common issue, it's a big application with a big database, lots of info is available on web for tips for speeding amarok up. Switching to mysql is usually first on those lists.

unfortunately using mysql did not help with the startup of amarok.. it's still slow as it was before
