Every attempt at burning a music cd in the newest k3b upgrade (version info below) results in a message like "error. may be buffer underrun. try a lower speed."
However, wodim and growisofs both work without any problems from the commandline.

Moved to workstation furum as k3b is not in testing repo.

Are you sure your wodim test ran at the same write speed as K3b, and what is that speed? When does K3b get the error, before or after the burn? Does the burn finish anyways? Can you select a lower speed, and if so does one of them fix the problem (which?)? What speed is your burner rated for? Have you checked to make sure wodim-burnt CDs are still 100% perfect?

Huh, I thought it was in testing... Oops!
I have tried all speeds from 12x(?) up to 40x/auto. Every i3b burn fails at the beginning (before burning actually starts!) with that error. I can't say for sure that the wodim burn was 100% perfect yet, but I know that it did work -- I listened to the first ten seconds of a few tracks. The DVDs that I've recently burned with growisofs all work as well. The last video DVD that I burned worked, but that could have been before the update.
