Problems with gnome

Hey guys I'm new to arch linux, transferred from ubuntu, and I'm having a couple of problems with my gnome.  Basically, it's not setting up correctly when I initialize gnome-session from xorg.  Every gnome panel still has the xorg window over it and the xorg default windows are displaying over everything.  Anyone know why this is problematic?

EDIT: Nevermind, I feel stupid now.
