Framebuffer with multiple video cards

I've been looking for a way to use the con2fb program. If I had /dev/fb0 for my AGP r128 card (the boot display device) and /dev/fb1 for my PCI radeon card, I think I'd be able to type con2fb /dev/fb1 /dev/tty2 to have vc2 appear on my external monitor. However I cannot find a framebuffer driver supporting more than the boot display device. I've only got vesafb and uvesafb to use my AGP card. I've tried loading aty128fb for my AGP card and radeonfb for my PCI card but I still only get a single /dev/fb0. Directfb looks like it supports many features but am I correct in saying that this is a userspace library meant to enhance fb drivers and not an fb driver itself?

Great things come in tar.xz packages.

Re: Framebuffer with multiple video cards

Ok the reason radeonfb doesn't work is because my radeon card is too new =\. If I start with the radeon card as the boot display device and load aty128fb, the framebuffer on the other screen is created and I can move consoles there and start X on there but *silently*. The monitor is black while I'm doing it and I don't know how to fix that! Are there any M3 users able to use aty128fb?

Re: Framebuffer with multiple video cards

This kernel: http://tirdc.livejournal.com/ has a radeon driver that supports multiple framebuffers on everything that the xorg radeon driver supports. I'll post a PKGBUILD once I clean up my incredibly crude PKGBUILD.
