Keyboard and mouse not working after -Syu

Yesterday I run the system upgrade command and a today boot issued to periferal failure. I replugged not answering mouse and keyboard  (both Logitech, mouse switched from ps/2 port to usb one) with no success. Some problem must be in init process because the failure of periferals in text mode (X is not started). Slax live CD works as perfect. No suspicious log messages were detected. Any idea? My desktop is not managable... Thanks for any help.
