dell m1330 mic in skype

hey guys i cant seem to get the inbuilt mic to work in skype however my creative wireless headset worked flawlessly can anyone shed some light on this

Hi Cew27! I can use the internal mic without problems, if you use gnome, go to system -> gnome-control-volume (speaker icon). Now in Preferences, select Digital Input Source and in Options, change the digital input source to "Digital Mic 1".

When you going to use skype, unmute the "capture" in the capture options.
