kdm listing "ghost" user

Using kdemods kde4

I removed a user called "live"  completely using kuser, including the home drectory and the reference to it still shows up in the kdm greeter and defaults to it, even if I set it differently in the Login Manager. 

I figured I could reinstall kdm, but I can't figure out what package installs the kdm greeter, as it is not a separate package by itself.
