Help using pyaim to log into aim from gajim

Is anyone successfully logging into an AIM account with Gajim?

i think the pyaimt service is what i want but there's no man page or help doc and google has been a bust so far.

anyone with a working setup (it doesn't have to be pyaim), please share?
