Creative XtremeGamer sound card not working

I've disabled onboard sound in the BIOS, and now when I use Arch, the sound doesn't work. In alsamixer, it looks like it's trying to run the sound through my GPU, which I know can't be right. How can I remedy this issue?

Re: Creative XtremeGamer sound card not working

I solved that through blacklisting the intel hda driver since my videocard's hdmi sound solution was being detected as an intel soundcard...

Do you know the specific name of it that I can blacklist in /etc/rc.conf?

I'm afraid I don't remember, anyone here should know what the module for that driver is named.
