Hi,
My dmesg gets filled with messages like this one:
Xorg:2675 conflicting memory types e0000000-f0000000 write-combining<->uncached-minus
reserve_memtype failed 0xe0000000-0xf0000000, track write-combining, req write-combining
Xorg:19180 freeing invalid memtype e0000000-f0000000
It does not look good, what does it mean?
Thanks!

Do you have an Intel-Card?
I found messages in dmesg, too (but I do not know if they were really the same).
The solution was to append "nopat" to the kernel and the messages went away.
PAT seems to be something graphic cards provides, but the intel does not - I do not really remenber because I do not really care
I googled with parts of the message and found the solution really fast. So maybe you can add "nopat" or "PAT" to your searchstring to find out if your problem is the same as mine.
Hope this helps,
Yannar
