Hey,
I'm experimenting with LUKS encryption at the moment. Did a fresh install and encrypted all partitions how it is described in the Wiki. Used a 2008.6 (Core Dump) Core install CD, and everything worked fine.
But since I performed a "pacman -Syu" and rebooted, I can't type in my root-partition password anymore.
The keyboard just does not work.
It still works before though (selecting the OS in GRUB).
I thought that maybe the new kernel messed up the usbinput hook, but mkinitcpio.conf is still the same - and all hooks were created correctly while the newest kernel was installed.
Too bad my PC has no PS/2 connector, so I can't test a non-USB keyboard.
Any idea what else could be wrong?
Thanks! yodo
Edit: Sorry, I admit: I did not search the forum, because I did not find anything with google. The problem was already posted: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=63553
