Hello,
My system tray in KDEmod (4.1) is trashed after upgrading to the new X server.
Take a look: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/8572 … raydf4.jpg
I've had the tray do some pretty funky stuff on a day-to-day basis, esp with the battery monitor, but they generally resolve after kde restart, which of course does nothing to help the current problem. The apps/services that the icons represent still work, if I click on or mouse over the icon, though.

Remove any MigrationHeuristic option from xorg.conf and you're fine. I guess you're an intel user?

JGC, yes I am an intel user. I will try that when I get home. Thing is, I find MigrationHeuristic option to improve the video performance significantly on my system. Is there anything else I can do to keep the option or something while resolving the tray issue?

I think it would be solved in KDE 4.2 final. However I only get a minor improvenment with MigrationHeuristic - like 5 fps extra according to glxgears...
Arch - It's something refreshing

So turning off MigrationHeuristic didn't solve the tray problem. Any other ideas, or should I just wait for 4.2?
