How To Add unofficial repo?

I have searched the forums thoroughly. I cannot find how to add the unofficial repository to my system. I have looked in my pacman.conf file. it is not in there or I would just uncoment it. Any advice would be great!!!!  Thank  you!

What "unofficial" repo are you talking about?

Anyway, most things are explained on the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Uno … positories

Re: How To Add unofficial repo?

I was told that there is an unofficial repo in several threads on the forums. I am just trying to get to it. They don't mean the community repo. Just gets confusing to a noobie to arch. i tried the link you gave me. None of those have what I am looking for.

Maybe you mean the AUR? There is a button for it at the top, next to "download".

Re: How To Add unofficial repo?

Please, read the Wiki. Beginner's Guide, and from there Pacman and AUR. It will answer many present and future questions.
