I was wondering if anyone knows how to configure the cursor speed of the mouse while using LXDE, if there is a GUI package I can install, or how to do manually via the command line.
I have two mice and one is great at its default speed, but the mouse I use when on the road is much slower, so I'd like to speed it up, but I don't know how. Any help is appreciated.

Test different values in a console with xset m.
For example:
xset m 3 2
(The first number is the speed and the second is the threshold)
Then put in the .xinitrc the command with your best values.

Sorry to bump an old thread, but what is the proper syntax for this in the ~/.xinitrc?
I tried simply 'xset m 5 2' which had no effect upon entering X and I also appended an 'exec' to the front of that line which had no effect.
EDIT: Ah, the xset line needs to come before the exec DE line.
