I have many mp3 tagged with italian and french charset (à é ç ò) that I can easily type and view in dolphin. My locale distro is us_english becouse I don't like to have programs in two languages, or bad translated.
rc.conf
LOCALE="en_US.iso88591"
HARDWARECLOCK="localtime"
USEDIRECTISA="no"
TIMEZONE="Europe/Rome"
KEYMAP="it"

USECOLOR="yes"

en_US.utf8

The problem is that I cannot play these mp3 with amarok2, even if the collection is well build and the charsets are well displayed If I try to play with vlc I can do that only song by song, the folder crash. I think this is a new problem because many songs have counter>1

I really don't know why ... migrating from .iso88591 to unicode .utf8 solve the problem.
