hallo
I started arch up, saw there were updates. So ran Shaman. It was 2.6.8.2-1 update and kde4mod stuff. I came a cross some errors while updating, tried pacman and eventually it worked however it needed libmsn so I installed it to. Then I wanted to login after the reboot, saw a newer kdm screen entered my password and hit enter, but then returned to the same login kdm, 2 seconds after the enter hit.
Any suggestions?

Have you checked tty1? Press ctrl + alt + F1 and check for errors, then ctrl + alt + F7 to get back to kdm.

At kdm, ctrl+Alt+F1 doesn't do anything. So does F7. Tried it to at the console and also trying to startx. The output something like this:
(EE) Failed to load module "type1" (module does net exist, 0)
(EE) Failed to load module "record" (module does net exist, 0)
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
Can't find file "azerty" for symbols include Existing
Abandoning symbols file "default"
Errors from xkbcomp are not fatal to the X server.
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc : line 47: twm: command not found
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc : line 48: xclock: command not found
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc : line 49: xterm: command not found
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc : line 50: xterm: command not found
/etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc : line 51: exec:xterm: not found
Should I include or copy a log file or something if needed

This sucks big time. My installation was terrific, I got some updates which are stable releases, I guess. And then the kdm or xinit or startx doesn't work. I then tried to comment the errors from above so they don't load at the Xorg.conf but still no succes.
I guess the only solution is reïnstallation of kdemod4 and see if it sticks together or dramatically reinstall Archlinux but I don't want that.
