fluxbox wont start

i have installed the ati drivers and when i do startx mouse keyboard all works well but when i try and run startfluxbox it doesnt load it says it cant contact the xserver i have editted the xinitrc file to execute the commands but it wont start can someone help me with a solution here

so far im loving the concept of this ditro i would hate to go back to ubuntu

Hey EnGorDiaz,
it's been a while since i ran fluxbox but I have always just used:

exec fluxbox

as my .xinitrc and ran startx to launch it. I never used startfluxbox. What is in your .xinitrc?

the command "startfluxbox" isn't starting a X-Server.
