Where is the zen-eee repository?

Hi,

the Wiki mentions [1] the zen-eee repository as a source for EeePC specific packages, but apparently the repository is off-line? Does anyone know what happened to it?

Peter

Re: Where is the zen-eee repository?

The main repo seems down, but the mirror listed below still works:

 [zen-eee]
 Server = http://archeee.konventare.se

You have both packages for the zen kernel and some more wink

Re: Where is the zen-eee repository?

Well, I guess what I'm really interested in is whether the packages found in that repository are even still necessary in the light of the recent kernel update. I haven't performed the update yet, so I don't really know, but I reckon that Linux 2.6.28 might have improved Eee PC support, thus obsoleting stuff from the zen-eee repository, no?

2.6.28 has a better EEE support than the 2.6.27 kernel, but still it lacks stuff that is in the zeneee -kernel. For example the hotkeys don't work with the generic arch kernel.

the zen-eee kernel maintainer (robertek) hasn't been seen in a long time on these forums, might be busy with other things (such as life ;D).
