Italic text doesn't appear in Wine
With the latest version of Wine, italic text is not shown - there are spaces where the characters should be, but no characters. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'll guess you're missing some Wine fonts... look around and see if you can find the default fonts (copy them from a Windows install?) that are used, so you can install them. Wine by default doesn't come with many fonts IIRC.

I tried installing ttf-ms-fonts, italic fonts still didn't show. And it's not fixed in 1.1.14. Maybe a Wine bug? Or perhaps some of the fonts it used to ship with were dropped?
