agreed, people should start learning valuable lessons from some of these threads.

1.) never softlink a library just to get functionality - recompile you lazy bastards.

2.) running pacman -Syu more then once every 6 months is most effective.

i'm just wondering if your compiz is setup properly? could be the reason for awn not working right. just a thought.
