gcc issue

I'm trying to install freecnc, I got all the dependencies installed, but I'm having a problem getting it to compile.

[root@thebeast freecnc++]# ./freecnc mix.vfs
./freecnc: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

And looking through the gcc directories, it appears the I have libstdc++v3...? Anyone provide some insight here? thx
