[solved]Playing Realmedia files- how to do it?

according to this article in the wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Common_codecs (bottom of page)
I can play realmedia files by downloading some codecs and putting them in /usr/lib/codecs.  The problem is the /codecs directory does not exist there.  Has it been moved or do I need to create it?

It's there. Install codecs from [extra] first.

ffmpeg should play those now . I use ffmpeg-svn but I think the version in the repos was updated lately . I build mplayer against shared libavcodec so It works too .

Try playing the files with ffplay/mplayer .

English is not my native language .
