Sony Vaio FZ11S installation problem

hi, i have a friend that has SONY-VAIO FZ11S, when i put the archlinux cd to install and going to prepare disk for installation and create partitions it comes up with this message:

FATAL ERROR: Bad Primary partition 2: Partition ends in the final partial cylind
Press any key to exit cfdisk

how do i overcome this?
also is it possible to keep vista, meaning dual boot or have to delete all of them (including the recovery disk?)

Re: Sony Vaio FZ11S installation problem

you can keep vista... just resize the vista-partition in windows or get a gparted livecd (or ubuntu cd). this should fix the error as well.
now boot with the arch-cd and setup the arch-partitions manually.
