KDE Not updating?

KDE is not updating correctly using pacman on my system.

When I do:

pacman -S kdebase

It says:

:: kdebase-3.2.3-1 is up to date.  Upgrade anyway?

But it is at 3.3......what's going wrong?

Re: KDE Not updating?

heh I was gonna ask something similar - when I pacman -S kde, it wants to install kde 3.2.3, when clearly the website's package list says 3.3 is in "extra". Well not according to pacman! (maybe it needs a cherry before it complies? wink   )

Re: KDE Not updating?

mirrors take a while to sync.  if you're in a big hurry, move ftp.archlinux.org to the top of the lists for your repositories

Do

pacman -Sy kde

to also sync your DB with the one on the server & get KDE.
