Advice on satellite DVB pci cards

Hi,

I am interested in satellite DVB reception on computer and would like some advice/recommendations on cards that work well in Linux, also applications that will work with these cards.

I also want to know whether its possible to view encrypted programs since apparently the DVB-s cards have no slot for subscriber cards.
