Can't Play M4A

This is strange, mp3's play fine in both rhythmbox and totem. If I try to play an m4a in totem, it crashes, rhythmbox gives me a gstreamer internal error. If I run rhythmbox from command line I get no error message when dragging it in, it's only in the import errors dialog. Running command line totem gives me "segmentation fault"

I have all of the codecs installed. Any Ideas?

Re: Can't Play M4A

Does it have terrible, evil, insane, ridiculous, head-bashing, teeth-clenching, headache-inducing DRM?

If so, the forum can't help, but Google can. If not, can faad2 decode it to an uncompressed file?

Re: Can't Play M4A

Well, I just figured for good measure I'd delete and reinstall all codecs, and it seemed to do the trick. Who Knows.

Re: Can't Play M4A

Do you have FFmpeg installed? If so, try to play the files with ffplay and report back here:

ffplay <your_file>

--EDIT--

Never mind. It seems that you're all better.
