Emacs 23 doesn't find installed emacs packages

I grabbed emacs23 from git (via AUR), but it doesn't find the elisp packages I installed through pacman (Auctex and cedet). Can someone tell me how to make emacs23 find them?

Ok I solved the above problem by editing the loadpath. But I think emacs isn't anti-aliasing the fonts properly. Does anyone else have this problem?
