Re-install ineffective.

It would be helpful if everyone knew what else got upgraded.

Re: Pacman upgrade drops thunderbird(found in lost and found)

I don't see anything in that list that should have an effect on thunderbird. Maybe someone that knows more than I has an idea.

Re: Pacman upgrade drops thunderbird(found in lost and found)

Removed thunderbird from /var/cache/pacman/pkg.

Entered

pacman -R thunderbird

Entered

pacman -S thunderbird

The thunderbird icon is not present nor is it shown in kde menu.

System x86-64.

Added Thunderbird to KDE menu but it still does not start up when selected.  No e-mail.

Re: Pacman upgrade drops thunderbird(found in lost and found)

Since it doesn't start-up, no config can be made...

It was working until the new upgrades as posted.

Re: Pacman upgrade drops thunderbird(found in lost and found)

Mr Green:

Very nice to hear from you!  Yes, it brings up thunderbird.

Just before I logged in to this post, I used lost and found to find thunderbird.  Why it became lost is an unknown.

I now have it on desktop icon for selection at large.

Thanks a bunch,OC!
