Cisco Internet D:!

Well, I would like to give Arch linux a shot on my laptop.  The problem is that I am a college student, and here at my college there is this Cisco agent, which means you literally can't do anything via internet unless you go to a browser.  When you open up the browser, you can put in your information, and then go about  doing stuff online.  So you see my problem, if I install Arch, I will be screwed.  I can't just install xorg or xfce or really anything with pacman, because I need to have a browser (and I think Java?) installed before I can do anything.  Quite the pickle.  Need internet to get software, need software to get internet.  Any ideas?

Try this: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … her_distro , using a recent Linux Live CD as the other distro.
