VirtualBox won't capture mouse [SOLVED]

So it becomes impossible to install a system (i like to test distros and what better than VB for that, you can read the install docs as you go) because you can't use the mouse to select the various menu options during the install. That's odd because i had previously installed winXP and that still works on VB with mouse integration. But new systems, impossible. Some upgrade messed things up.

Re: VirtualBox won't capture mouse [SOLVED]

Solved, thanks to cozmicharlie on virtualbox forums , who wrote :

I stumbled on to a fix (at least it worked for me). When you click in VBox and the capture dialog comes up you also get an option "do not show this message again" - I checked this and low and behold my mouse worked fine. Would like to hear if this also worked for others.

Who would have thought ?

Sorry I didn't see this in time to help -- I had an identical problem with Vbox on a windows host, and solved it the same way you did.  You are right, it's odd!
