I've been learning ActionScript for Flash development and have been using Flex Builder under a VM (does not work with wine - won't let you type in the editor), but saw yesterday that there was an alpha release for a Linux version. I installed it and followed the instuctions for 64bit systems and all appeared to be fine until I went to launch it. The workspace dialog displays as it should, but every character is missing and only empty boxes show (even in the choose directory dialog). If I press the 'ok' button (a button with two squares on it) Flex Builder loads fine, but there are still no fonts on the menus, dialogs, or in the editor. It's hard to program with only these boxes... If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it, I don't know where to even start.
