Last update broke keyboard..-(Solved)-

Yep i remember updating last night before i went to bed. A lot of x11 packages i remember. The extra keys on my G15 refuse to work. G15daemon has been loaded but KDE refuses to recognize the buttons.

In system settings- regional - i have logitech g15 with extra keys via g15daemon. Whats causing this?

Re: Last update broke keyboard..-(Solved)-

I already have this under serverflags: Option "AutoAddDevices" "False" but it still dont work. I thought if i disabled it, it would revert back to normal.

EDIT: I set it to true and everything works again, strange. I could have sworn i hotplugging was disabled before this happened.

Re: Last update broke keyboard..-(Solved)-

It seems that disabling input hotplugging doesn't work with the last update of xf86-input-keyboard or xf86-input-evdev.
Now, I must enable input hotplugging. If not, I have a us keyboard on kdm and get errors in Xorg.log :
(II) evaluating device (Keyboard0)
(II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "Keyboard0" (type: KEYBOARD)
(II) Mouse0: Setting mouse protocol to "ExplorerPS/2"
(II) Mouse0: ps2EnableDataReporting: succeeded
(II) config/hal: Adding input device PS2++ Logitech Wheel Mouse
(EE) config/hal: NewInputDeviceRequest failed
(II) config/hal: Adding input device AT Translated Set 2 keyboard
(EE) config/hal: NewInputDeviceRequest failed
(II) config/hal: Adding input device Macintosh mouse button emulation

Re: Last update broke keyboard..-(Solved)-

Yep i enabled it too but im still having issues. Sometimes the keys work and sometimes they dont. Its confusing  because i keep enabling/disabling hotpluggin and both of them work.
