[SOLVED] KDEmod4 taskbar doesn't keep config
hi
my taskbar keeps returning, after a reboot, broken icons. Although I deleted them.
I once added a taskbar on top, but removed it, however it always shows up again after the reboot.
So why doesn't kdemod4 remembers my settinings...

I had this problem due to plasma crashing on logout before it could save its settings. In ~/.kde4/share/config are two files: plasma-appletsrc and plasmarc. I logged out, moved those out of the way and then logged back in. Plasma was reset to its default state and I was able to configure it then just fine.
I'm not sure how it gets that way in the first place, though.
