Available in .rpm, .deb and .tar.gz.
Seems like the full version costs 20 Euros, a demo is also available.
http://2dboy.com/2009/02/12/world-of-go … -is-ready/
Edit.. haven't been able to get it to work.. When executing WorldOfGoo.bin, it says:
bash: /home/jakob/WorldOfGooDemo/WorldOfGoo.bin: No such file or directory
bash: /home/jakob/WorldOfGooDemo/WorldOfGoo.bin: Success
and exits. Anybody else having some luck?

After installing lib32-mesa and lib32-libxdamage on my 64bit system it exits without any error message.
I've got no idea what to try next to get it to run.
Edit: I get the following message in WorldOfGoo.log:
[t=0.00] InhibitGnomeScreensaver constructor: couldn't execute "gnome-screensaver-command"!
But after installing gnome-screensaver the log file stays empty and I get no error whatsoever.

Works for me after installing those. Except it displays fullscreen over 2 monitors and the game is in the middle - not good
Edit: Nevermind, changed fullscreen=yes to no in properties/config.txt, all good now. I might actually buy this just to support linux gaming..

64 bit users will need at least the packages listed above, some sort of lib32 3D set up, lib32-sdl, lib32-sdl_mixer, and a bunch of other dependencies. lib32-libvorbis is out of date compared to the repos, that that one will need editing.

I downloaded the demo from the website, and it works flawlessly for me. After unpacking WorldOfGooDemo.1.40.tar.gz lauching ./WorldOfGoo, not the .bin

I aleady played and finished this game about 2 months ago, it worked very well on Wine (apart from a refresh rate limited to 60 Hz).

Just installed today from AUR (i686 though)... it's really good game and works without any error, i am considering buying it. HF

Yes I downloaded the demo and it worked without a problem. I use 32bit Arch, though. I may pick up the full game just because I wanna support a linux native game.

I was very happy to see the news today. I bought the game immediately. It is nice to see indie developers supporting Linux.

Installing lib32-libxcb-1.1.93 via ABS did the trick.
I was under the impression that if the faulty libxcb was causing problems you would get an error message. My bad.

It seemed to work very well indeed, exactly like on Windows, except that it crashed a few times. So I played it more on Windows. Glad to see there is a linux version, now a 64bit one would be even better

I saw this game so long ago and finally they release a linux version very cool.
I was in awe when I saw the movie about the gameplay, I guess I'll have to give the demo a go

I get this error when I am trying to starting the demo
./WorldOfGoo.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libGL.so.1: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
I installed lib32-libmesa, lib32-libxdamage and the correct lib32-libxcb. Does anyone have an idea?

This will help.
2a. Run: pacman -S lib32-nvidia-utils to install NVIDIA graphics drivers, or
2b. Run: pacman -S lib32-catalyst-utils to install AMD/ATI graphics drivers.

(edited because I didn't read the post I quoted correctly)
This is the error I'm getting :
./WorldOfGoo.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_mixer-1.2.so.0: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS64
...and I don't seem to be able to find a 32 bit version of that...

You can find it here: aur/lib32-sdl_mixer

I liked this game on Windows, so I'm wanting to give it a go here aswell.
I'm running x86_64 and getting this error when trying to run ./WorldOfGoo:
/usr/bin/WorldOfGoo: line 22: /usr/share/WorldOfGooDemo/WorldOfGoo.bin: No such file or directory
/usr/bin/WorldOfGoo: line 22: /usr/share/WorldOfGooDemo/WorldOfGoo.bin: Success
I have no clue o.O
EDIT:
After checking some, I needed lots of lib32's... But now when I try to run the game, no errors pop up..
but! I can see it in htop running as
gnome-screensaver-command -i -n World of Goo -r running
Lolwut?!
EDIT2:
Posting while in a rush is bad for me
I've solved my problems by installing lib32-x11 and lib32-xcb from ABS. Also I need lib32-mesa, lib32-catalyst-utils.

Tried it on windows, didn't seem so fun to me...

Bought it five minutes after I read the announcement . I payed 16 euros (20 bucks).
It seems to work fine on Arch64. I didn't even think about it but it probably helps I had a 32-bit wine running with 3d support.
The game is fun and very polished. The latter being a rare quality these days. I like the sign painter's quirky sense of humor.

This game is awesome. I have a Windows version, but I have to say that this is very good game and worth of money - especially when this is for Linux. However, game was a bit too short and a bit too easy for me. But the gaming is awesome.
